Installing and Uninstalling Roles and Features Using Ocsetup ( From Windows Core Install) Posted on March 28, 2011 by dpejic You can use Ocsetup.exe to install or remove roles, role services, and features on Server Core. The Ocsetup.exe syntax is case sensitive so you must type package names exactly as shown below (or exactly the same as in the output of the Oclist command). To install and uninstall a role, role service, or feature, you use this command syntax: start /w ocsetup package_name start /w ocsetup package_name /uninstall The Start command is required to open the Ocsetup.exe process in its own window. The /w switch causes Start to wait for the spawned process to finish running before returning to the command prompt.
